Click the “Administration” tab and click “Download Client Credentials” to download the wallet.

Specify any password which will used in keystore via JDBC connection and click on “Download“.

Start SQL Developer and create a connection for your database using the default administrator account, ADMIN.Click the Create Connection icon in the Connections toolbox on the top left of the SQL Developer homepage.

  • Connection Name: NEWADW
  • Username: admin
  • Password: The password you specified during instance creation
  • Connection Type: Cloud Wallet
  • Configuration File: Full path for the Client Credentials wallet file you downloaded earlier
  • Service: There are 3 preconfigured database services for each database. Pick skantorcldb_low for this instance.

Note: SQL Developer version is than 18.4

Test your connection by clicking the “Test” button. If it succeeds, save your connection information by clicking “Save.”Connect to your database by clicking the “Connect” button. It will connect to ADWdatabase.

In next post, we can start/stop the ADWC database.
